Abstract
Quando fui convidado a escrever este artigo sobre o diálogo religioso católico-judaico, fiquei em dúvida quanto à abordagem que daria ao tema. O convite pegou-me exatamente num momento em que procuro compreender o que seria o diálogo católico judaico no princípio deste século, marcado pelo terrorismo e por conflitos que envolvem religião. Escrevo do diálogo feito por humanos não por anjos. Não irei ater-me em frases bonitas, de efeito, tentando expressar de forma romântica a esperança que há naquele que se dispõe a dialogar.
