Abstract
Este texto presenta una reflexión alusiva al estudio sociológico procesual de las emociones con miras
a reconocer losfactores corporales y sociales que las atraviesan. Se intenta caracterizar la experiencia
individual sensible y su inscripción en la estructuración de geometrías interpersonales, destacando
losritmos colectivos que son elsoporte de la experiencia emotiva subjetiva. Este ejercicio conceptual
tiene dos momentos. Inicialmente se hace un recorrido por la propuesta analítica que Norbert Elias
desarrolla en su texto Sobre los seres humanos y sus emociones: un ensayo sociológico procesual, resaltando
las principales ideas e hipótesis de investigación que son sugeridas para abordar los fenó-
menos emotivos. Posteriormente, se retoman algunas ideas de Marx y Scribano para problematizar
el lugar de los cuerpos-emociones en la sociedad capitalista.
