Abstract
El propósito principal de este artículo será el de plantear una serie de hipótesis de trabajo relacionadas con los seminarios diocesanos gallegos que ayudarían a cubrir "vacíos" en los análisis que sobre el fenómeno de la religiosidad se han realizado en España. Para alcanzar este objetivo es del todo necesario: Primero, explicar la historia del nacimiento del seminario diocesano. Segundo, conocer los medios y los fines que trató de articular y perseguir esta institución hasta el Concilio Vaticano II. Tercero, saber qué cambios se han producido durante los últimos treinta años en estos centros religiosos.
