Abstract
Trwałość elektrod do zgrzewania rezystancyjnego punktowego jest jednym z istotnych zagadnień technologicznych. Można ją ocenić na podstawie czasochłonnych i żmudnych badań trwałościowych. w artykule przedstawiono metodykę badań oraz wyniki przeprowadzonego testu porównawczego trwałości dwóch rodzajów elektrod, w którym wykorzystano zmechanizowane stanowisko testowe do tego celu, wydatnie skracające czas prowadzenia badań oraz eliminujące wiele niedogodności i niekorzystnych zjawisk w czasie stosowanej procedury. Abstract Lifetime of electrodes for resistance spot welding is one of the most important technological issues. It can be assessed basing on time-consuming and arduous durability testing. The paper presents the electrode life test methodology and results of the comparative test of two types of electrodes. The new mechanized test stand was applied for this purpose which significantly shortened the tests’ duration and eliminated a number of drawbacks and unfavorable phenomena in the course of the procedure.
