Abstract
O presente trabalho trata das críticas de Hanna Arendt a Karl Marx especificamentena obra de Arendt A condição humana. No capítulo III desta obra Arendt versa sobre a atividadedo trabalho que, segundo ela, emergiu na Era Moderna como o principal foco das preocupaçõeshumanas. Para a autora a expressão teórica mais elaborada da emergência do animal laborans éa obra de Marx. Desse modo, toda a discussão do capítulo III de A condição humana gira emtorno das críticas de Arendt a Marx. No presente artigo trataremos de elucidar os aspectoscentrais desta crítica e de mostrar os equívocos de Arendt em sua leitura da obra marxiana.
