Abstract
En la actualidad, en La Rioja se están sentando las bases para comenzar a estudiar seriamente aspectos muy diversos de la época medieval, gracias a las importantes publicaciones de carácter documental que se han realizado recientemente. No obstante, la divulgación de estas fuentes no ha servido para dar a conocer algunos enclaves históhcos de indudable importancia, como es el caso del monasterio de San Prudencio de Monte Laturce, centro neurálgico de este trabajo.
