Este artigo é uma versão, com pequenas complementações, da palestra proferida no 5º Seminário Anual de Serviço Social da Cortez Editora. Sua preocupação central é tangenciar algumas das características que particularizam a "questão social" no Brasil, considerando‑se os determinantes dessa formação social. A partir delas, sustenta‑se a hipótese de que estejam sendo atualizadas em meio à crise contemporânea, com base na ideologia "neodesenvolvimentista" dos governos da "era" Lula da Silva.
This article is a version, with minor additions, the lecture given at the 5th Annual Seminar of Social Work Cortez publishing house. His main concern is tangential some of the features that distinguish the "social question" in Brazil, considering the determinants of social formation. From them, supports the hypothesis that they are being updated through the contemporary crisis, based on ideology "neodevelopmentist" at the government "age" Lula da Silva.
