Abstract
[Purpose/significance] Biopharmaceutical industry is one of the key industries in Guangdong Province and has a strong dependence on the intellectual property. The intellectual property service industry plays a vital role in boosting the development of this industry. [Method/process] This study investigated the status quo of the biopharmaceutical industry in Guangdong, and analyzed its related demand on the intellectual property service industry. The existing problems were discussed. [Result/conclusion] For promoting the development of biopharmaceutical industry in Guangdong by the intellectual property service industry, it is significant to further enhance the macroscopic promotion, strengthen the construction of professional talents, improve the industrial chain links, and accelerate the construction of industrial integration service system of the intellectual property service industry.
