Abstract
El fouling es el término inglés con el que se conoce a las comunidades de seres vivos instaladas sobre diferentes tipos de sustratos sumergidos en el mar. En este trabajo se sugiere al profesorado que el fouling es especialmente adecuado desde el punto de vista didáctico para la enseñanza del ecosistema en su evolución temporal. El motivo principal es que estos cambios se pueden adaptar a los períodos de tiempo escolares. Como ejemplo de utilización didáctica del fouling , se propone una secuencia que se ha aplicado con alumnos de la modalidad del Bachillerato de Ciencias de la Naturaleza y la Salud.
