Abstract
Internet se proyecta como el medio idóneo para plantear todo tipo de formación a distancia, tanto para personas incapacitadas como para profesionales en activo con carencia de tiempo para una formación presencial. Un caso particular es el del periodista; para él, las nuevas tecnologías de la información son a la vez un campo de estudio y una herramienta de trabajo imprescindible en su práctica cotidiana. Por ello, hay que abogar por un planteamiento metodológico hábil que desarrolle una formación continuada eficaz para el periodista del nuevo milenio.
