Abstract
Para contribuir esta Real Academia al fomento de las Ciencias Médicas, como marcan sus Estatutos, y con el deseo de estrechar las relaciones culturales con los países americanos, engendrados por la madre patria, abre un concurso de Premios exclusivamente entre residentes en países Hispano Americanos, en las siguientes condiciones:   Tema: Aportaciones de los Médicos, Farmacéuticos y Veterinarios españoles a la obra colonizadora de España en América. Premios: Primer premio, Diez mil pesetas, concedidas por la Dirección General de Relaciones Culturales del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, y el título de Académico Corresponsal. Segundo premio,  Cinco mil pesetas, concedidas por el Instituto de Cultura Hispánica, y el título de Académico Corresponsal.
