Abstract
U ovome su radu autori ukazali na ulogu “virtualne” maloprodaje i softverskog informacijskog sustava GlS-a u oblikovanju novih maloprodajnih poslovnih jedinica i u unapređenju planiranja prostornoga razmještaja maloprodajne mreže. Dostignuća suvremenih informatičkih
tehnologija omogućila su znatno ubrzanje svih poslovnih i kupoprodajnih
procesa. Također, zahvaljujući dostignućima suvremenih informatičkih tehnologija i dalje se racionalizira uporaba čimbenika radnoga procesa u maloprodaji: prostora, zaliha, radne snage i sl.
