Abstract

A obra de Guimarães Rosa distingue-se por três características centrais. A primeira delas refere-se aos processos lexicogênicos, pelos quais o escritor cria, constantemente, novos vocábulos e torneios sintáticos. A segunda diz respeito ao resgate de termos raros ou inusitados, fornecidos, sobretudo, por regionalismos e arcaísmos. A terceira, finalmente, assinala sua capacidade ilimitada de fabulação, ou de invenção de uma multiplicidade de enredos.
