scientific spreading and scientific culture: concept and applicability

We intend to present concepts of culture and scientific dissemination as well as, their social applicability. Vogt (2008) points out the importance of the construction of indicators to reckon the impacts caused by the production and technology about the various social dimensions. So, the importance of Scientific Dissemination will be enhanced - today it is presented as central point for scholarsin most different areas - namely: government in reason of its promotion programs, institutions of education and centers of research, for science, as well as culture and society are in constant transformation. In this way we will try to discuss culture and scientific culture concept, presenting general comments on scientific dissemination and, also, the social contribution brought by the scientific dissemination in Brazil and in the world.
