Abstract
O trabalho faz um levantamento de questões ligadas às relações de poder observadas por Norbert Elias em duas de suas obras: Os estabelecidos e os outsiders e o primeiro volume de O processo civilizador. Explora-se a relação entre os estabelecidos e os civilizados, e entre os outsiders e os incivis. Dessa forma, o presente texto estabelece alguns pontos de comparação entre os dois livros partindo dos conceitos de poder, cotidiano e exclusão.
