Abstract
This study discusses somenotions of memory and affectivitycrossed by the idea of modernity,considering that affections areconstitutive features of the knowingand-doing backgrounds stored insocial life. To this end, studies by thesociologist Norbert Elias are takeninto account so we can trace thepresence of affections on humanreciprocities.
