Abstract

Resumo: O primeiro objetivo deste trabalho é relatar algumas observações sobre o estatuto da gramaticalização da forma a gente em língua portuguesa, mais especificamente no dialeto mineiro do português brasileiro. O segundo é problematizar o que se convencionou chamar gramaticalização, tradicionalmente entendida como “o resultado de um processo que tem a solução do problema como alvo principal”, mostrando que é possível observar o processo por etapas.

Abstract: The first goal of this paper is to report on observations of the status of grammaticalization of a gente in the Portuguese Language, more specifically in the dialect from Minas of Brazilian Portuguese. The second is to problematize what is conventionally called grammaticalization, here understood as “the result of a process that has the solution of the problem as its main goal”, showing that it is possible to observe the process in stages.
