Abstract
In this study, physicochemical parameters of Çivril Lake were measured montly between 2004-2005. The measurements were carried out in four stations ideally represented the Çivril Lake. Mean annual physicochemical paramethers were statistically compared among the stations and the factors were classified with the factor analysis. It was determined that the lake water was clear and oderless, salinity %0.0 and hydroxyl 0 mg/L in year around. According to the results of factor analysis, three potential factors explaining 100 % of the total change in the data set were identified. The first factorexplained 58.98%; second factor 21.51 %; third factor 19.50 % of the total variance. This study have shown that organic pollution increased considerably in some stations of Çivril Lake, especially summer months and that the amount of dissolved oxygen decreased in the range of critical degree for aquatic organisms, especially at the first station.
