Abstract
EN ESTE ARTÍCULO SE RELACIONAN LOS NUEVOS ESCENARIOS ECONÓMICOS este artículo se relacionan los nuevos escenarios económicos con el orden social de género, expresados en movimientos migratorios locales y transnacionales. Se indica que la maquila y el trabajo doméstico transnacional se constituyen en “rostros del patriarcado global”. Se concluye que el fenómeno migratorio, analizado desde un enfoque género, deberá considerar que el género es una estructura imbricada en otras estructuras e instituciones como el mercado, el estado y la familia. El análisis de estas relaciones proporciona elementos para conocer cómo la desigualdad y la exclusión social son construidas y reproducidas socialmente.
