Abstract
O presente artigo se define como um estudo de caracterização climática de Fortaleza-CE, de modo a contribuir com a elaboração de diretrizes projetuais para residências unifamiliares em clima quente e úmido de baixa latitude. Assim, através de revisão bibliográfica e pesquisa por projetos localizados em bairros distintos da cidade, procurou-se determinar as estratégias bioclimáticas aplicáveis a edificações residenciais destinadas à região em estudo.
