Abstract
The undergraduate course in dentistry at the State University of Southwest Bahia - UESB was created on October 8, 2003, campus of Jequié-BA. The main objective of this research was to draw the profile of Dentistry student at UESB. 140 questionnaires were applied. The results obtained showed that the majority of students are women (71.25%), single with an average age of 22, desiring to take a graduate course after completing their undergraduate degree. They intend to start their career in the public sector. This study provided a socioeconomic background and a personal profile of UESB dentistry students.
