Abstract
Resulta obligado aclarar el propósito de estas notas que, más que construir una imagen de alguien que merece reconocimiento y honor, pretenden compartir los momentos vividos cuando se forjaba la Cuba de hoy, la influencia que ejerció sobre nosotros y la imagen que guardamos en los recuerdos. Una mujer como Vilma puede y debe ser cantada por los poetas y por la saga popular. Sean estas vivencias un pequeño grano de arena en la inmensidad que ella abarca en la historia de nuestra Patria.
