Abstract
Diante do fascínio brasileiro por autores e modelos estrangeiros de tecnologias organizacionais, este artigo tem por objetivo realizar uma análise crítica a respeito de como vem sendo abordado o tema qualidade no Brasil. Partindo do contexto brasileiro, onde o assunto é vivenciado, passando pelo que está sendo praticado e discursado pelas organizações, pre-tende-se trazer à tona algumas reflexões que permeiam o sucesso e o fracasso das empresas na busca pela qualidade.
