Abstract
Este artigo aborda questões relacionadas com as pinturas do artista paraense Emmanuel Nassar, cujos trabalhos foram desenvolvidos em seu atelier na cidade de Belém, estado do Pará, região norte do Brasil. A produção artística que será enfocada situa-se no contexto da arte contemporânea brasileira, e foi objeto de estudo da dissertação de mestrado “A Pintura de Emmanuel Nassar: a co-existência de campos diversos” (2006).
