Abstract
     Bu çalışmada, Deprem Bölgelerinde Yapılacak Binalar Hakkında Yönetmelik 2007 (DBYBHY-2007) ve Eurocode 8 kullanılarak mevcut yapıların performansları belirlenmiştir. Örnek olarak 8 katlı bir adet mevcut betonarme yapı ele alınmıştır. Bu yapının performans değerlendirmesi, hem Deprem Bölgelerinde Yapılacak Binalar Hakkında Yönetmelik 2007 hem de Eurocode 8’de belirtilen şartlara göre doğrusal olmayan elastik yöntemlerden biri olan statik itme analizi yöntemi kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda elde edilen değerler doğrultusunda eleman hasar düzeyleri ve yapı performansları her iki yönetmeliğe göre karşılaştırılmıştır.
