Abstract
Das Blutbild des europäischen Sechundes stimmt mit dem anderer Raubtiere überein. Nur die basophilen Granulozyten weichen in ihrer Morphologie und Zahl von dem Bekannten ab. Der relativ hohe Hämoglobin-Wert dürfte wohl mit dem großen O2-Verbrauch beim Tauchen in Zusammenhang gebracht werden.
