Abstract
En el Día de la Ciencia de Cuba, el 15 de enero de 2020 se celebra el Aniversario 60 de la formulación por Fidel Castro de su visión estratégica: “El futuro de nuestra Patria tiene que ser necesariamente un futuro de hombres de ciencia, de hombres de pensamiento”. Este artículo de reflexión aborda la presencia de la Ciencia en la Constitución de la República de Cuba y la necesaria asimilación creativa de los saberes producidos en el mundo, la educación científica de las nuevas generaciones, el desarrollo de tecnologías, la innovación en la producción, servicios, y gestión empresarial, y el surgimiento de una cultura masiva de objetividad y racionalidad, que conduce a la participación de todos en la construcción de conocimiento verificable, y en su aplicación al mejoramiento continuo de la vida material y espiritual.

Abstract
On Cuba's Science Day, on January 15, 2020, the 60th Anniversary of Fidel Castro's formulation of his strategic vision is celebrated: “The future of our Homeland must necessarily be a future of men of science, of men thinking". This reflection article addresses the presence of Science in the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba and the necessary creative assimilation of the knowledge produced in the world, the scientific education of new generations, the development of technologies, innovation in production, services, and business management, and the emergence of a massive culture of objectivity and rationality, leading to everyone's participation in the construction of verifiable knowledge, and in its application to the continuous improvement of material and spiritual life.
