Abstract
La identificación de insuficiencias en la formación  profesional,  la existencia de problemas para el desempeño de la Gestión Metrológica en el ámbito productivo y empresarial, y la pobre percepción pública de la Metrología como ciencia, determinó la necesidad de buscar las evidencias científicas válidas que permitieran identificar propuestas para la solución de estos problemas. Encontradas estas, se diseñaron estrategias de trabajo que desde el punto de vista conceptual teórico y funcional  permitieron tributar a la mejora de los hallazgos. En el trabajo, se dan a conocer los resultados más importantes obtenidos, fundamentalmente en la creación de una base material nacional, en Metrología y el rol de la misma para la preparación de los recursos humanos y su divulgación  a los ciudadanos. Abstract The identification of inadequacies in vocational training, the existence of problems for the performance of Metrological Management in the productive and business field, and the poor public perception of Metrology as a science, determined the need to search for valid scientific evidence that would identify proposals for the solution of these problems. Once these were found, work strategies were designed that, from the theoretical and functional conceptual point of view, allowed for the improvement of the findings. In the work, the most important results obtained are disclosed, mainly in the creation of a national material base, in Metrology and the role of the same for the preparation of human resources and their dissemination to citizens.
