Abstract
La preservación del medio ambiente es una de las prioridades de la agenda internacional y por ello los estudios ambientales se han ido incrementando. Se emplearon como métodos de investigación: el Histórico-lógico, el trabajo con las fuentes de información internacionales y nacionales vinculadas con la temática y el Análisis y síntesis. También se utilizaron métodos estadísticos para el análisis de datos. El artículo aborda las investigaciones, iniciativas e informes relacionados con la preservación del medio ambiente así como la relación con la Agenda 2030 en el contexto cubano. En la literatura consultada aparecen estudios que evalúan un componente en particular y se adolece de evaluaciones integradas que ayuden a orientar las políticas públicas. Es necesario realizar investigaciones nacionales en que se incluya el medio ambiente como un todo interrelacionado para fortalecer la administración pública y contribuir a evidenciar el cumplimiento de la Agenda 2030.

Abstract
The environment preservation is one priority of international agenda and the environmental issues had incremented it. As scientific methods, the logical-historical, work with the international and national sources of information linked to the subject and the analyses and synthesis were used. This article aboard investigations, initiatives and report to environment preservation and related with Agenda 2030. In the consulted literature there are subjects that assess one component and fall ill integrated evaluation to help lead public policy. It is necessary do nationals investigations considered the environment as an enough interrelation to fortalice la public administration and to contribute to evidence the compliment of Agenda 2030.
