Abstract
En Cuba el sector energético presenta una fuerte concentración, en su generación, de las fuentes tradicionales de energía. El uso de las fuentes renovales (FRE) es muy limitado alcanzando valores relativos que no superan el 5% dentro del total de la matriz energética (ME) cubana. No obstante, existe la voluntad política de revertir esta situación con el desarrollo perspectivo de las FRE, aprobada por la comisión gubernamental del Consejo de Ministros, aspirando a incrementar el uso de FRE a un 24% para el 2024. En este sentido, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo evidenciar el trabajo que se realiza en la provincia de Villa Clara en una tríada universidad-sociedad-comunidad a partir de la integración de las decisiones energéticas al desarrollo socioeconómico desde el uso de tecnologías basadas en las FRE. Para ello se muestra la experiencia practicada a la zona agroalimentaria (ZAA) "Valle del Yabú" de Santa Clara. Palabras claves: fuentes renovables de energía, desarrollo socioeconómico Abstract In Cuba, the energy sector has a strong concentration, in its generation, of traditional energy sources. The use of renewable sources (FRE) is very limited reaching relative values ​​that do not exceed 5% within the total of the Cuban energy matrix (ME). However, there is a political will to reverse this situation with the prospective development of the FRE, approved by the government commission of the Council of Ministers, aiming to increase the use of FRE to 24% by 2024. In this regard, the present the objective of this research is to demonstrate the work carried out in the province of Villa Clara in a university-society-community triad based on the integration of energy decisions into socio-economic development from the use of technologies based on FRE.
