Abstract
Resumen El Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro Ruz fomentó una actitud proactiva ante los grandes objetivos a lograr por el pueblo cubano, a partir de su desvelo permanente por el presente y futuro de la Patria y la Humanidad. Con su extraordinaria visión prospectiva supo avizorar que, sin la educación no hay Revolución posible, porque la educación es el futuro. El artículo tiene como objetivo identificar las ideas conceptuales fundamentales que configuran el pensamiento prospectivo estratégico del Comandante en Jefe en torno a la educación en 1953 y en el período comprendido desde 1959 hasta 1981, y las estrategias trazadas, para convertir los sueños en realidades. Los resultados que se presentan forman parte de un proyecto de investigación institucional y se han impartido en conferencias a los cuadros que cursan los Diplomados y Especialidades en Administración Pública y Dirección y Gestión Empresarial. Abstract Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz fostered a proactive attitude towards the great objectives to be achieved by the Cuban people, from their permanent vigilance for the present and future of the Homeland and Humanity. With his extraordinary prospective vision, he knew that, without education, there is no possible Revolution, because education is the future. The aim of the article is to identify the fundamental conceptual ideas that make up the strategic prospective thinking of the Commander in Chief regarding education in 1953 and in the period from 1959 to 1981, and the strategies outlined, to turn dreams into realities. The results presented are part of an institutional research project and lectures have been given to the cadres studying the Diplomas and Specialties in Public Administration and Management and Business Management.
