Abstract
Resumen La Plataforma Articulada para el Desarrollo Integral Territorial (PADIT) que constituye un programa marco de apoyo al desarrollo territorial cubano, no contempla entre sus herramientas la gestión de reducción del riesgo de desastres de forma integral y multisectorial, solo se circunscribe a la estrategia medioambiental, por lo que no se contempla en la planificación acciones de la etapa de prevención para los peligros apreciados en el país. El objetivo del artículo es contribuir con las autoridades locales en la definición de acciones para fortalecer la capacidad de reducción del riesgo de desastres en la producción de alimentos en el sector agropecuario, lo que producirá un impacto positivo en la implementación de los Lineamientos de la Política Económica y Social del Partido y la Revolución. Abstract The Articulated Platform for Integral Territorial Development (PADIT), which constitutes a framework program of support for Cuban territorial development, does not include among its tools the management of disaster risk reduction in an integral and multi-sectoral manner, it is limited to the environmental strategy, so, being restricted to it the disaster risk reduction is not contemplated in the planning actions of the prevention stage for the dangers appreciated in the country. The objective of the paper is to contribute with the local authorities in the definition of crucial actions to strengthen the capacity of disaster risk reduction in the production of food in the agricultural sector, which will produce a positive impact in the implementation of the Guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution.
