Abstract
Resumen
Identificar el nivel de preparación para la práctica intersectorial de la salud pública en estudiantes del Diplomado de Administración Pública es básico para trazar acciones de capacitación. Se realizó una investigación descriptiva de corte transversal en 19 directivos de la administración pública. El cuestionario se elaboró con el consenso de expertos de la Escuela Nacional de Salud Pública. Se halló alta cifra de directivos sin antecedentes de preparación, la totalidad refirió haber participado en alguna tarea intersectorial, principalmente por campañas (89,5%); más de la mitad también participó en tareas de emergencias y desastres. La participación respondió mayormente a convocatorias del sector salud o del gobierno, hubo muy baja intervención en aspectos que materializan la intersectorialidad en la práctica. Se concluye que la preparación insuficiente, evidencia de participación intersectorial inducida, limita el actuar de manera anticipada en la preservación y mejora de las condiciones locales que contribuyan a la salud poblacional, imprescindible para el desarrollo local.

Abstract
To identify the level of preparation for the intersectoral practice of public health in students of the Diploma of Public Administration is basic to trace training actions. A descriptive cross-sectional investigation was carried out in 19 managers of the public administration. The questionnaire was prepared with the consensus of experts from the National School of Public Health. A high number of executives without preparation background were found the whole referred to having participated in some intersectoral task, mainly by campaigns (89.5%); more than half also participated in emergency and disaster tasks. The participation responded mostly to calls from the health sector or the government, there was very low intervention in aspects that materialize the intersectoriality in practice. It is concluded that insufficient preparation, evidence of induced intersectoral participation, limits acting in advance in the preservation and improvement of local conditions that contribute to population health essential to local development.
