Abstract
Besides clinical medicine, which is in the process of constant and fast development, the focus is increasingly on public health services, which should be well prepared for reducing or keeping under control the dangers induced by the growing social burden of disease. Continuous risk management is represented by these services that are specially designed to prevent diseases and health damages.
The grounds for the planning and implementation of public health services are constituted by risk factor management and assessment by means of adopting a unified approach.
