Abstract
There is a connection between gender violence and a set of conceptionsand practices related to sexuality that ought to be decoded carefully. Such relation, specifically, concerns an aspect that interconnectssexual practices within a particular symbolic field - an "erotica", wherecategories such as "feminine" and "masculine", "young" or "old", "skin" color such as "yellow", "white", "mulatto" and "black" and the supportto such definitions does not stick necessarily and exclusively to womenand men as empirical subjects, and presupposes power and force relationsin terms of subjugation and pain. This articles aims at analyzing theconnection that can be made between this configuration of violence andfeminist theories and practices related to eroticism.
