Abstract
We read, with interest, the paper entitled "Acute-onset smell and taste disorders in the context of Covid-19: a pilot multicenter PCR-based case-control study". The authors observed that sudden loss of smell (LOS) was significantly more frequent in Covid-19 patients (39%) than those infected with influenza (12%). These data corroborated the results of Yan et al.
