The management of the current organisations is influenced by organisational culture; an abstract concept whose specific manifestation forms may be detected on all levels of management functions. Organisational culture greatly determines the way in which an organisation operates and it develops more or less intense from one organisation to another, depending on the organisation’s history, tradition, size or form, as well as on the influence it has on the environment it operates in. Organisational culture influences the strategies conceived within the strategic planning of an organisation. Organisational culture is relevant both for the strategic diagnosis stage, when the internal potential of the organisation is evaluated and for the implementation stage of the organisation’s strategies, where, for a successful implementation, the modification of the organisational culture is required.
