Abstract
O propósito do artigo é investigar a gênese e a construção da noção durkheimiana de representação, de sua origem no neocriticismo francês à incorporação numa sociologia do conhecimento capaz de resolver os impasses implicados na epistemologia kantiana.
This paper presents an analysis of Durkheim's concept of representation, tracing its origin to the French neocriticism. Durkheim incorporates the concept into a sociology of knowledge that aims at solving the shortcomings of Kantian epistemology.
