A high rate of burdened perinatal history, abnormal parameters of physical development has been detected. It is noted that in the period of early childhood the physical health status of children with Down syndrome is determined by the presence of congenital abnormalities of the cardiovascular system and other organs, functional disorders of the digestive system, the thyroid gland. Evaluation of features of physical health is important in substantiating the amount of rehabilitation in medical supervision for these children.
