Abstract

El escrito revisa con alguna exhaustividad la literatura sobre el cuerpo como campo de estudio relativamente reciente en las ciencias sociales y humanas. Enmarca este ámbito cognitivo a partir de una visión epistémica inter y transdisciplinaria. Propone una serie de rutas para indagar teórica y metodológicamente acerca del cuerpo como dimensión primordial y constitutiva de las culturas y las prácticas sociales.   ABSTRACT This paper examines exhaustively the literature on the human body as a relatively recent field of studies in social and human sciences. It frames this cognitive field, applying a trans- as well as inter-disciplinary approach. It proposes a number of theoretical and methodological pathways to investigate body as an essential and constituent dimension of cultural and social practices.
