Abstract
This paper is a theoretical review of studies on the Nature of Science in the teacher formation in Science Education area. We have had as a starting point the landscape of metascience. We have intended to create a point of dialogue with the current demands for science education and teacher formation. This proposal was placed in our daily activities in the teacher preparation in Biological Sciences at UFRPE, particularly with the disciplines of practice as a curricular component. We have argued that such studies are important: they help to situate ourselves theoretical and politically in the field of the current studies on the Nature of Science, and allow us to reflect on our teaching practice and curriculum of Science and Biology teacher formation that we have and what we would like to build. We suggest in conclusion, the construction of a research center on the Nature of Science in UFRPE.Reference Key |
