This paper is devoted to the collection of choirs by Constantin Rusnac, a prominent musical figure and composer from the Republic of Moldova. Ranked as a result of many years of creative efforts in this genre and published in 2013 in Chisinau, this collection under one cover combines two different sets of choral miniatures — a cappella or with piano accompaniment. One of them — „Luminati-va (Enlighten Your)”, has included 17 works for mixed and homogeneous choir, the other section — „Ghiocelul (The Snowdrop)”, which has embraced 24 miniatures — significantly expands and enriches the repertoire of music for the children’s choir. Within each of these groups there are samples of different genres and musical language that are of interest not only to the choir conductors who select material for their own concert programs, but also for musicologists.
