Abstract
The stigmatization of the mentally ill covers all spheres of public life, starting with the policies of private and public organizations that reinforces the stereotype of mental stigma in all social groups. Together this leads to further strengthening social isolation and exclusion of the mentally ill. In this context, it is becoming increasingly important study of the characteristics of verbal and behavioral practices of interaction with the mentally ill individual social groups to understand their content, identify root causes and predict the consequences as factors of stigma and factors that hinder the socialization of the mentally ill. The aim of the study was to investigate features of microÂsocial determinants of formation of the verbalÂbehavioral social practices interact with the mentally ill. To meet our goal the following methods were used: analysis, synthesis, sociological survey (interviews, questionnaires); content analysis. The paper considers microsocial determinants of the formation of verbalÂbehavioral social practices interact with the mentally ill. Special attention is paid to the characteristics of age, gender and social status determinant for the formation of verbalÂbehavioral social practices interact with the mentally ill. Established that perceptions of the mentally ill, formed in adolescence, differed in duration due to its intellectuals and, on the level with views that are formed in childhood, negotiated practices of interaction with the mentally ill for the rest of his life. For respondents with higher education and high social status were characterized by a more humanistic and tolerant practices of interaction with the mentally ill against the possibility of hiddenÂnegativities attitude towards the mentally ill, which is reflected in social practices bypassing the declared position.Reference Key |
