Abstract
An experiment was carried out under greenhouse conditions in Lavras, MG, aiming at evaluating the evaporative demand of the air (ET), estimated by of Class A pan and modified atmometer of Soilcontrol model JR 120 the methods, using the Penman-Monteith methodology. The results show that the methods of the Class A pan and the modified atmometer showed a good correlation with the method of Penman-Monteith for diary periods, showing "r" values of 0.94 and 0.97, respectively, and yet the two types of evaporimeters presented higher values of ET0 on the average when compared to Penman-Monteith method.
