Deep venous thrombosis is mostly associated with anunderlying risk factor such as venous catheter, infectiousdiseases, hereditary thrombophilia and metabolic diseases.Cancer is one of the most common primary disordersin pediatric venous thrombosis, accounting for onefifthof children with thrombotic events.
